The Air Force and Military Museum of Suchdol nad Odrou held a day of open doors on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the air battle dubbed Bloody Sunday. Thanks to the enthusiasts of the Suchdol nad Odrou Friendship Club – a section of military history, this museum has been around for 17 years and is a great weekend trip for fans not only for aviation but also for families with children. You can see the shells of combat aircraft hulls, engines with the remains of propellers, aircraft equipment, or small artifacts found in the Czech Republic. The biggest attraction of this event was the premiere of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 hull, whose journey to the museum lasted for 8 years. Visitors could also see the art gallery of Iva Hoňková and Jaroslav Rusek on the ground floor of the main building.
